Review | The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 01 Light Matte

Oh damn! I'm not particular to tortishell brown (like the plastic colour on tortishell sunnies) but damn  this is gorgeous packaging. I will confess this is my first bronzer. Ever. You'd think even a makeup enthusiast would have delved into bronzers far earlier than I did but it was the fear. The fear of the bad orange tan effect bronzers can give you if you select a shade incompatible with your skin. Being quite fair skinned it posed quite a challenge to find a shade I was comfortable with. Ladies and gentleman, this is that shade. Not to mention the adorable Honeycomb pattern you can see inside the lid if you look at it in the light. Adorable!

That signature Honeycomb print! How you enthralled me. The Body Shops Honey Bronzer had been on my to buy list for quite a long time but I live quite far from The Body Shop, located in the city so it took me some time to get out there to nab it, and nab it I did. Just in time for Spring.

The colour in 01 is a subtle light malt warm taupey shade. It's swatched around 3 times in the above photo just to demonstrate the gorgeous subtle warm glow it gives. It doesn't apply patchy it just seems to be a sheerer formula and lasts a nice full day out for me. It's also matte which is what I prefer as my skin can be quite dehydrated and glitter tends to highlight that if my skin isn't looking to well. The Body Shop Honey Bronzer is available in 3 shades and readily available online and instore for a cool $28.95

Whats your favourite must have Bronzer?
